The MTA Elections Committee will be sending out information on how to declare your candidacy for one of the positions available for the 2010-2012 term (Vice-President, Secretary, High School Director, and Elementary School Director). Also up for election will be three local positions for the 2010 NEA-RA.

Reminder: March 8th, 2010 is the last day to nominate a candidate for office.
The Murrieta Teachers Association (NEA/CTA/MTA) will be holding its election for the offices of MTA Vice President, MTA Secretary, Elementary and High School Director and NEA RA Local Delegates, during the third week of March. Nominations are open (which means that anyone who is a MTA member is eligible to nominate any MTA member, including himself/herself for office). The term for each office is from July 1 st, 2010 to June 30 th, 2012. Anyone wishing to run for office should file a declaration of candidacy form so that it is received at the MTA office, 25114 Jefferson Ave. #C, Murrieta CA 92562, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010. The forms are attached to this e-mail and can be faxed, mailed or hand delivered. You cannot e-mail the nomination forms. (Post-marked date not accepted)
